Hiking with the Cavanaughs

Yesterday after Stake conference, which was really good, we went over to Pleasant Grove and had a picnic with Damien's family. After eating we headed over to the trailhead to hike up to the waterfall. It was probably a little over a mile to get to it. Once we got there Josh and Jared decided they were too hot and wanted to jump into the water. Then one by one everyone took a turn. "I will if you will" is what got me in. It was quite refreshing you could say or really freezing. Then we hiked back down soaking wet. We ended with some family scripture study where we had our picnic. President Uchdorf spoke at our Stake conference and talked about gaining a testimony or strengthening it by using Preach My Gospel. So as recommended we started with Ch 3, the first discussion. Damien, being the only returned missionary, went over the lesson.
