Big Rock Candy Mountain

Between all these reunions Blake, mom, Dani, and I head to 7 Peaks for the day.  Robbin, Jenna, Wendi, Layla, Min, Nae, Cindy, Sarah, and Jackie were there to hang out with too. We had a blast. Here is DD and baby.
Then we headed south to Big Rock Candy Mountain. And no there were no unicorns named Charlie. The theme for this years reunion was Hillbilly. That is why Jod and Jac look so beautiful. There was lots of fun things to do. Best thing: Floating down the river. There was a nice slow route for the little ones and a more adventurous route for the older ones. I got a wicked sweet bruise on my behind from a frisky rock. I know others did too.
Every family was in charge of a hillbilly craft. Debby didn't know what we could do. I had seen a cute tutorial, on a blog I like to follow, on how to make these beauties:
We rummaged through DI and Savers in the valley and bought tons of mugs. Then bought some special paint and brushes. WALLAH: hillbilly mustache mugs.I made Blake a wee little mustache mug. I posted everyone's that I had a picture of, if you would like to be featured and you weren't, please let me know.
All in all it was fun! Looking forward to next year with the farrers. It was sad to say goodbye to my mom since I had here for so long. We did get to see her shortly after at the river though...that post will follow shortly
