So Blake is saying a few words now (hi, ball, mom, dad, more, banana) But other than banana, we don't hear them very often. He talks to himself in the mirror and also yells 'hi' when I put him down for a nap. He must think that I'll come grab him when he says real words.
He also knows a few signs. He recognizes more than he can do himself. If I ask him if he wants more of something, he will sign 'more' Even when he doesn't really want more. I sign ball and he will look for his ball...he tries so hard to sign ball back. But it is a variation of 'more.' So lately I've been signing 'light' to him. He gets so excited when he does it back. Its so funny. The only difference is that I flick my middle finger up from my thumb. Blake flicks his down and it makes a distinct snap sound. Which he gets delighted about.

That is so cute! Layla's best sign was "more" and she still does it now.
