Intermural Softball

So Damien and his friends decided to play intermural softball this spring term. Interestingly none of them ever played baseball as children. Well, I lied, a few of them, including Damien and Dave, played T-ball! They recruited one guy that played in high school. They have had 4 games so far. These are what Damien wanted to accomplish at each game. The goal for game one was to catch grounders and flies that came straight to him/not look stupid. The goal for game two was to hit the ball. The goal for game three was to get on base. The goal for game four was to make it to home base. He made all of his goals. He really surprised me and himself at how quick he picked up on the game. Its been super fun and funny watching them play with there lack of skills. Game three they lost 27-3! I don't remember the other scores. But last night they won their first game! It was intense since we were down two of our players. They really have improved immensely.
