Our friend Dave has this store in AF called 26.2. He videotaped me running to see how I pronate and then fit me for a pair that helps me to not over pronate. These were the ones that did the job and fit comfy too. I learned something new too: For running you should get a pair that gives you 1/2 inch of room by your toes. So a size bigger than your regular shoes. Trish accompanied me to see how the whole process worked, she ended up getting a pair too.
The store, 26.2, that I got my shoes from, sponsored the Race for Red this past weekend. It was just a 5K, but I had never done one before. I didn't have an amazing time, but I did beat my goal by a few minutes! Thanks to my new shoes I'm sure. This is Whit and me before the race. It was raining and cold before hand, but got nicer once we started.I texted my mom to brag to her what I had accomplished....she text back that she had hiked 10 miles in prep for her trek this summer!
